[OOC] ToD Character Collection

This is going to be the post where I collect all the random info I translate from Tales of Destiny Character Collection, which is sort of like the (slightly outdated) Ultimania for the Destiny games. Mostly stuff that I find amusing for various reasons.

For now, it's a placeholder. AND IN THAT PLACEHOLDER IS A SKIT FROM THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF ToD.

Leon: What's with that laugh?
Rutee: I saw it. You're a siscon!

There's an extra battle available in the PSP port of ToD2. Basically, you can fight Leon Magnus.

... yeah, the party's about as surprised over that as you are. I found the scene on Nico, and translated the aftermath of the battle. I'd, uh, put this behind a cut for spoilers, but NO ONE'S GOING TO EVER PLAY MY CANON ANYWAY, SO.

Leon: ... so...... so...
Judas: ......
Kyle: ... Judas...?
Judas: ... when I tried fighting him, I was able to understand everything...
Judas: ... this is Leon Magnus.
Party: !
Judas: ... eighteen years ago, I betrayed Stahn and the others, and I chose death...
Judas: ... but I didn't have any regrets.
Judas: ... that's right, I didn't regret it. ... or so I thought.
Judas: The me that is "Judas" didn't regret the past.
Judas: ... but inside "Leon," little by little feelings of regret began to bud...
Judas: Those budding feelings of regret became like a person's shadow-- this Leon Magnus.
Leon: ... so....... so...
Leon: ... Stahn, everyone... .... I'm sorry...
Party: !
Judas: ... at that time, I was just thinking of my own feelings, and I betrayed Stahn and the others... so...
[Judas slashes at the figure of Leon.]
Judas: So, illusion or whatever, your existence is no longer needed!!
[Leon begins to disappear.]
Leon: ... than.... k... you.....
Judas: ... farewell, Leon Magnus.
